      Why a Stress Reduction Education is so important!
      Stress reduction and stress relief will decrease your vulnerability!
      Stress shows no mercy on age, sex, national origin, of color! Everyone is vulnerable to stress.
      However, why is the reduction of your stress so important?

      Your vulnerability can be visualized by the concept of peeling the layers of an onion or cabbage. Each problem or health issue has at its core STRESS!
      Let’s take your health issues:

      Leading causes of death (2007)
      Heart Disease: 616,000+
      Cancer: 562,000+
      Stroke: 135,000+
      Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 123,000+
      Percentage of overweight Americans:
      (2009) “Gallup-Healthways Well-being index”
      63.1% over weight or obese 
      Of the people with high blood pressure: 46.2% obese, 31.1% were over weight.
      Of the people reporting heart attacks, 6.3 % were obese
      4.8 % were over weight

      Now let’s look at relationships: 
      Divorce rate (2007) 50% of marriages ended in divorce!
      Of these 50% that stay together there are a high percentage of people staying together: because of the children, money, fear, or infidelity is not addressed ( no one cares)
      Families: we have a very high % of single mom’s.

      Financial: personal- very few people enjoy balancing their checkbook or doing their personal bookkeeping!
      Our financial education is something that overwhelms us.
      We still use credit cards unwisely.
      We go on pay later vacations to try to reduce our stress, only to have to pay the bills later and have increased stress.

      Most people are working paycheck to paycheck! You are extremely stressed and vulnerable in these areas.

      Business / work: people have difficulty making informed decisions. Your financial life can be vulnerable to these stresses. 
      Many people avoid responsibility and become reactionary.
      Some people become non-confrontational they prefer to ignore problems.

      I do not have to research very far to come up with information about how unemployment or the threat of job loss affects you and me. 


      I have not gone into the research data of the misuse of prescription medications or over the counter medications.

      I can get very ugly and discuss street drugs, alcohol, sex addictions and gambling.  Consequently, you have read enough of the stress horrors.

      ***I have peeled back the skin of the stress onion to show you that at the core of all these problems is merciless stress.***

      You can put various names on stress: boundary issues, depression, anxiety, fear, and the one used by those in catastrophic events- Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

      You and I have the options and alternatives to get back the control that stress has taken from us.
      Are your health, relationships, finances, and work important enough to you, to become passionately committed to reducing your stress?
      You can pursue many avenues to reduce your vulnerability to stress; the control is in your hands and minds!
      Now you know why reduction and relief of your stress is so important! 
      Getting your life back by using natural solutions will help your body and mind. 

      How I came to my solutions:

      I used natural methods here and there to see what worked and when, then I created a daily stress reduction plan for myself to condition and strengthen myself towards conquering stress, hour by hour, one day at a time. It took me over twenty-one years to perfect and feel comfortable about sharing my solutions and message. But I am here today to do just that!

      I used aromatherapy, massage, meditation, Tia Chi, music, color therapy, pet therapy to mention a few. I searched on-line for methods and alternatives.

      I learned responds versus reaction methods.
      Detachment techniques.
      The calming and empowering effects of giving stress away.
      The importance of basic time management skills. 

      And many other natural solutions and healthy alternative methods including some holistic health options.

      I learned in those 21 plus years of constant stress, how to reduce, relieve, defer, detach and shield stress from my body, mind, spirit and environment.

      My children were the first to discover the benefits of my research and self-training.
      They have grown to be healthy, responsible and successful men.

      I have over time put my Stress Reduction Plans into training programs. I feel that NO ONE should have to go through the nightmare stress I went through. While everyone is unique, my training will shorten your learning curve, and you can save many years of vulnerability and heartache.

      I do feel an obligation to teach and train but I also find it healing and a way of overcoming the grieving of the many lost years I allowed stress to consume me.
